Chronology

1966

Manuel Camacho founds the company M. Camacho S.A. in Barcelona as a cosmetics product manufacturer.

1970

He specializes in manufacturing colour cosmetics for third parties in the Spanish market.

1982

Opening of a new 3,000 m2 production plant in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.

1983

M. Camacho begins exporting its products to countries such as Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Japan, the Caribbean area and South America, an activity to which it devotes over 75% of its production.

1992

Increased production with the acquisition of a new plant in Montornès del Vallès.

1995

M. Camacho expands to new markets in the Middle East, Africa and Russia.

2001

Acquisition of a new 5,000 m2 production plant in Castellví de Rosanes.

2008

Changes in concept, image and lines of action. Unification of the Camacho Group (until then divided into three production plants) in a single plant located in Castellví de Rosanes, which brings together all the technological advantages with the aim of complying with the highest market demands in terms of product safety, quality and innovation.

2013

The second generation takes over and develops a new strategic plan based on the creation of a new business model, with new values. First, it consolidates the position of the company in the cosmetics sector as a manufacturer for middle-high level third parties. We create a new corporate image and the result is Camacho Cosmetics. In this new stage the company commits to maintaining the artisanal DNA of its creator in some production processes, combined with the incorporation of state-of-the-art technology. The company begins its growth by investing in training and infrastructure. Its new exports initiative enables it to enter international markets based on the quality and safety of its products.

2014

Camacho Cosmetics obtains the certification of AENOR (Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification), which accredits compliance with the guide of Good Manufacturing Practices for the Cosmetic Industry, ISO 22716:2007.
